Paper Flower Mason Jar

Create these cute paper flowers using the new Susan's Garden Sizzix Die

To get the shaded natural effect cut the petals out of cream cardstock, use a sponge to dap the ink pad then "Sponge" the ink onto the paper petals. Once you have colored the petals the color and shade you want, start shaping them with an embossing tool and the texture pads (sold by the Susan's Garden Dies) it doesn't have to be perfect, trust me! After all the petals are shaped nicely start constructing the flower by gluing with Fabri Tac from the outside working your way in until you run out of petals. Tie a ribbon onto the mason jar and glue your beautiful handmade paper flower onto the jar.

All you need is:
Susans Garden Sizzix Die
Sizzix Machine
Cream Cardstock
Ink pad and sponge
Embossing stylist
Sheer ribbon and Grosgrain
Fabri Tac
A MASON JAR!

CONE HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS

CONES, CONES AND MORE CONES..HURRAY FOR CONES!!!!

Check out these awesome paper mache cones we love by Sierra Pacific.  Grab some Ceramcoat Paint, Duct Tape, Card Stock, Ribbon and other accents to turn these cones into festive center pieces, favors and more.

I love this favor!  Turn the cone upside-down, cover in double sided holiday cardstock with double sided tape and fill it with your favorite treats!  I used a Marvy Uchida Circle Punch to add a little embelishment and some ribbon to hang it by.  I love this idea...personalize it and it's like a Christmas stocking...a hanging cone full of goodies for everyone!

Make adorable center pieces...a forrest of trees for Christmas or a sweet Candy corn Cone for Halloween!  You can even use them to make a pretty pricess hat for a Halloween costume or princess party!
