MONEY ROSES

 

Sigaya Webster created a Money Rose and Butterfly at our workshop last Friday!  Join us on Fridays from 10am-12pm and learn to make one for yourself!  Practice with our special Ben Franklin play money or use your own real crisp $$$ bills.  We can also teach you to fold a shirt, frog, or heart to attach to your leis for a Money Lei for that special graduate.  Any graduate would be happy to receive a lei in their school colors with $$$ attached!  Or, a bouquet of real roses with one or two $$$ roses!  There's a nominal fee for the rose and butterfly although the other folded "money" is free!

Lei Making at Pearl City HM Ben Franklin!   Graduation celebrations, May Day, Mother's Day and summer parties are right around the corner!  Any associate at Pearl City will be happy to demonstrate the one-straw lei for you. Or, join us at our Lei Workshops to create your own multi-straw lei, braided ribbon lei, crochet lei or a sewn ribbon lei.  We have money folding and money rose workshops too!  Erika demonstrated to Kathy and Clara how to tangle yourself in yarn (not!).

One of the easiest and fastest leis to make is the One Straw Lei!  Check with any associate and they will be happy to demonstrate one!

Money Roses at Pearl City

It's Graduation season! And, what is graduation without Leis & Flowers!?  You will present your graduate with that beautiful yarn, ribbon or floral lei you created....make another special lei she would love to wear by adding $$$$!   We have workshops scheduled....just bring in crisp $$ bills and, with a small workshop fee, you can create money fans, frogs or a bouquet of money roses & butterflies! Demonstrations for straw leis, crochet leis, finger leis and ribbon leis are scheduled through the season too!  There's even a demonstration on creating a gift card  holder! There's always something creative going on at Pearl City!

Money Folds

The gift of $$$ are always appreciated! Fold a heart and tuck it into that graduation, wedding or birthday card! Fold a flower, shirt, or fan and add it to that lei! Create a bouquet of roses with a butterfly or two! Join me through April & May to learn....I'll have some play money to fold or your can bring crisp $$$. Need a Lei too? There's always a lei making demonstration or workshop going on...learn to make your own straw leis (specialty yarns are on sale now!), braid or sew a ribbon lei or get started on a crochet lei!
