Inkagold Table Trees

Aloha Crafters,

Todays Idea and Inspiration is a jingly and fuzzy table tree. They're fun, and festive and the whole family can make a tree in their favorite color!

Supplies:

Nani Sparkle Yarn- Grass Green (30071453)

Nani Sparkle Yarn- Pure White (30136383)

Inkagold Paint- Emerald (30142962)

7" Paper Mache Cone (30121472)

10" Paper Mache Cone (30109045)

3/8" Gold Jingle Bells (30086411)

1/2" Mutli Colored Jingle Bells (30086413)

Sponge Brushes 

Hot Glue

Optional instead of inkagold

Ceramcoat- White (77624882)

Delta Acrylic- Holiday Green (30098130)

1. Sponge paper mache cone with Inkagold paint.

2. Wrap yarn around cone.

3. Glue on jingle bells, and you're done!

Ribbon Tree Ornaments

Aloha Crafters ~

Today's Idea & Inspiration is a Ribbon Tree Ornament.

Supplies:

• Sheer Organza Silver Ribbon (30116622)
• Bead Stringing Wire (77184788)
• Inspiration Beads ( 30118329)
• Crimp End Beads (30102623)
• Crimp Beads (30102621)
• Dritz Fray Check (77651521)
• 12mm White Star Bead (30078691)
• Scissors
• Beading Wire Cutters
• Sewing needle

Instructions:

1. Arrange beads in desired order
2. Cut bead stringing wire 2"-3" longer than the length of "arranged" beads
3. Attach crimp bead on one end of wire
4. String 1st bead
5. Fray check end of ribbon
6. Using needle, pierce hole in ribbon, leaving desired length (see picture)
7. String 2nd bead, loop ribbon, pierce with needle, string ribbon
8. Continue stringing beads and ribbon, ending with star bead
9. Attach crimp end bead
10. Cut ribbon & use fray check on end

Driftwood Nativity

Today's Idea & Inspiration is a Nativity my d.s.l. Mark and I made from driftwood we picked up at the beach.

Supplies:

• Driftwood
• Hot Glue Gun
• Glue Sticks

Instructions:

1. Take a walk on the beach ;p... pick up driftwood (we picked up 2 grocery bags)
2. Sift through driftwood, looking for wood shaped like the figures you wish to include in your Nativity, pillars, shingles, etc.
3. Chose 2 long pieces to use for the "foundation", the flatter the better.
4. Build a "ladder" with the 2 long pieces and short ones across, glue together for the floor.
5. 4 "pillars" can then be glued to the corners of the floor.
6. 4 pieces for the roof line, 1 for the ridgepole.
7. Shingle roof as desired.

8. Adhere nativity figures to floor.
