Here's another sneak peek at one of the make-n-takes happening at Pearl City's Endless Summer Crafting event this  Saturday, August 24 from 10am-2pm.  Do you recognize Hello Kitty's friend? Perler Beads make this an easy and fun project for everyone...join Jaime and make a Hello Kitty or Minion to hang on  your bag or child's backpack!  Come see the Hello Kitty Car and join in the fun....there will be demonstrations, make-n-takes & prizes!  See you there!  There's always something crafty going on at Pearl City!

Fan Creations

Aren't these fans beautiful? No, they are not ready made! We received fans that you can decorate yourself! Join me this Saturday for a make-n-take workshop & decorate one yourself! I have the alcohol inks, felt & fans; you bring your creativity for design...or I can help you with a cherry blossom design! These fans would make beautiful centerpieces & favors for that future wedding, anniversary, graduation or any special occasion! We will be hosting a Fan Creation workshop each Saturday from 11am - 2pm while supplies last! *Girls Day is March 3rd....your special girl (mom, grandma, auntie, sister, niece, daughter, grandaughter, or special someone)would love one of these!

July Sneak Preview

Have you seen THE AVENGERS movie yet? These are a cutesy look at the mighty heroes created with paper punches! A sneak preview of one of the many demonstrations and workshops to be featured throughout July at the Pearl City store. Check our calendar and come join us! On Saturday, July 7th we will feature Hello Kitty make-n-takes from 10am-2pm and as a special treat, Hello Kitty joins us from 2pm-4pm. Bring the kids. Bring your camera, take a picture. Have some fun!

We Cranked Out a Party

Boy did we ever crank out a fun party! On behalf of everyone here at Enchanted Lake, I would like to thank all of our wonderful customers who came and played around with us this past Saturday.

That's me and "Auntie Purple" crankin' out a fun favor.

Just in case you hadn't already heard, the party was to celebrate our You Tube video blog called Crankin' Out Crafts. It consisted of a bunch of quick and easy crafts that we've featured on the show. 

Of course JFlo showed up to show off her watercolor techniques.


We offered tips and tricks on Wild Block centerpieces, glittering, and even how to use a heat gun to melt crayons and make bright, beautiful, drippy art. Then we did some lei, favor, wreath, and jewelry making.

Dolly helped with lei making while Jenny attracted a little crowd.

And, to top it all off, we gave away some great prizes so a few of our customers walked away with a bunch of scrapbooking supplies like paper, stanps, and stickers.


Yep, that's me again doing a butterfly or dragonfly candy favor.



In fact, we had so much fun that we're already planning our next party. You have to keep checking in with us, though, because I'll put the details out in a later blog entry.
