Party Favors

It's time to get this party started!  We've got your party favor supplies, and easy ideas that will dazzle your guests and keep your planning enjoyable and stress free!  

FLOWER FAVOR: EASY AS 1, 2, 3 !

We carry a wide variety of beautiful stickers and accessories that would be perfect for this favor!

This favor is SEW-FABULOUS and cute as a button!

We used E600 Glue to attach our buttons, and double sided tape to wrap a ribbon around the bottom half of the dish.  Take this idea and make favors for your party, gifts for your friends...and an emergency sewing kit for your household or glove compartment.  It's a cute way to store any little thing!

The SOCIAL BUTTERFLY Favor

1) Fill treat bags with colorful chocolate candies or jelly beans.

2) Fold a 12x12 sheet of colorful paper in half and cut a simple butterfly-ish shape.  

3)Decorate both halves of one side of the butterfly shape with bright colored paper shapes (using punches or scissors), gem stickers and any other decorate stickers, markers etc.  We decorated both the sides to mirror eachother, but feel free to get creative with your own design.

4) Fold the wings in half punching three spaced holes if you want to hang it.  Use double sided tape to attached the bag of treats to the wings.  Using ribbon, simply thread the holes, knotting the ribbon on the other side of the butterfly and hang.  If you don't wish to hang your butterfly simply use double sided tape to attach the bag of treats to the wings.  

5) Use pipe cleaners for antennas.

Great for a kid's party!

This favor is fun, interactive and screams princess!

- 12" favor tube

- Glitter foam sheets

- Glitter ribbon

- Curling ribbon

- Star die cut from the Accu Cut machine located and available for use at all Ben Franklin locations.

-Assemble using double sided tape.  Place curling ribbon between the two star shapes using craft glue or double sided tape when assembling. 

- Decorate with sticker gems for some magical bling!

Crafting Parties this Weekend!

On Saturday, July 28th we will be having TWO crafting events at our stores!

On the Big Island at our Hilo BFC Store - Come to our BEN'S BASH Event from 10am-4pm. Activities include a Craft Fair, games, food, and make 'n takes. Come and craft with Jenny from Sister Stamps from 12-2pm! You can also win prizes and discounts.

Saturday, July 28th from 10am-4pm at Hilo BFC

On Oahu, come to Mapunapuna BFC for our annual CRAFTING CARNIVAL from 10am to 2pm. We'll have special guest crafters, demos, make 'n takes and more. Projects include a lollipop favor and cardmaking with Joy from the Joy of Crafting, a Sizzix Pop 'n Cuts Card with Cheryl M., a Deco-Book, Deco Foodie Clay Charms, and favors.

3.75" x 6" cello bag

Scrapbooking paper

Blue Marvy Uchida scalloped circle punch (2”)

Yellow Marvy Uchida circle punch (1-12”)

Green Marvy Uchida circle punch (3/4”)

Glue-stick or double-stick tape

Stapler & staples

Scissors

Crankin’ Out Crafts Episode 123 – Owl Pillow Box Favor

Who's ready for a hoot-full week of owl themed projects? COC, that's who!

For our first episode, we have Brandon making an owl favor made out of a

simple pillow box.

Transform an ordinary pillow-box into an owl!

Supplies:

Purple Marvy Uchida scalloped oval punch

Yellow Marvy Uchida circle punch

AccuCut pillow box die

Double-stick tape

25mm googly eyes

Scissors

Plain and patterned scrapbooking paper

*You can use our AccuCut die-cutting machine for Free, with purchase of paper at our stores.

Since the punches and die cutter make this project so easy, you can make up

a whole flock of owls for your next party.

We Cranked Out a Party

Boy did we ever crank out a fun party! On behalf of everyone here at Enchanted Lake, I would like to thank all of our wonderful customers who came and played around with us this past Saturday.

That's me and "Auntie Purple" crankin' out a fun favor.

Just in case you hadn't already heard, the party was to celebrate our You Tube video blog called Crankin' Out Crafts. It consisted of a bunch of quick and easy crafts that we've featured on the show. 

Of course JFlo showed up to show off her watercolor techniques.


We offered tips and tricks on Wild Block centerpieces, glittering, and even how to use a heat gun to melt crayons and make bright, beautiful, drippy art. Then we did some lei, favor, wreath, and jewelry making.

Dolly helped with lei making while Jenny attracted a little crowd.

And, to top it all off, we gave away some great prizes so a few of our customers walked away with a bunch of scrapbooking supplies like paper, stanps, and stickers.


Yep, that's me again doing a butterfly or dragonfly candy favor.



In fact, we had so much fun that we're already planning our next party. You have to keep checking in with us, though, because I'll put the details out in a later blog entry.
