SHAMBALA BRACELET
There's a "new" bracelet style that's really hot right now called the Shambala Bracelet but it's really just a revamp of the macrame square knot technique that has been around forever and is very easy to do. This same square knot technique is used to make the sliding knot portion for the closure of the bracelet and looks much nicer then the simpler sliding knot with overhand knot. You can find bracelets done in this style at various boutiques or on line for a very pretty penny or you can do it yourself for much less! I used S lon cording that we carry in a variety of colors but it's only available at our BFC stores that have expanded bead shops. S lon cording works great for micro macrame and is a very durable cord that is easy to knot. I'm doing this as a demo in our Mapunapuna bead shop on Saturday March 3 and 10 between 2 and 3 PM some come by to check it out! And trust me, this bracelet is much prettier in person then pictured above!
I'll see you at the store!
