Altered Box

Hello again everyone! I wanted to show off my latest vintage piece using our brand new Tim Holtz line of embellishments. These little findings are so fun to use that I can't seem to stop making things. First, I painted the box a dark brown color with acrylic paint, then I decopaged our new line of SEI paper to cover. I also did a top coat of decopage over the whole box as a sealer. I attached the ornate metal labels, knobs, and corners with E6000 to finish off the piece. I think I need to make one of these for myself; it would make a beautiful jewelry box.
