New Art classes at Pearl City!  Art classes for Kids & Teens!

 "First Art" for ages 3-5 years attending with a parent.  This class explores the creation of shape & designs in finger paint, crayons and clay. "Kids Drawing" for ages 5-9 years will use markers and paper to create pictures of animals, aquariums, roller coasters and oceans.  Each lesson will help the student learn about shapes, shading, perspective, and have time for creative play.  "Teens Painting" for ages 10-18 years will have students learning to use wet & dry brush with acrylic paint, making landscapes, figures and animal paintings.  Students will have the support to create their own painting from their choice of image or design.

Classes are scheduled on Mondays:  First Art from 2:30-3:30pm;  Kids Drawing from 3:30-4:30pm and Teens Painting from 4:30-5:30pm.  Class fees are $15.00 per class or register for 4-class session at $60.00.

A little bit about the artist:  Kathryn has been teaching art classes for 15 years and has mentored other teachers, helping them to teach visual art.  She has a MA in Counseling Psychology, Specializaion in Creative Expression, and a BA in Studio Art.  She has studied both Fine Art & Art Therapy.  View her artwork, at www.kathrynrone.com

  *coming soon:  Floral Painting workshop for adults.  This workshop will provide an introduction to Water Soluble Oil Paing and an opportunity to enjoy painting Hawaiian flowers!  Learn about composition, light source and color theory.
