Diploma Pillow Box Favor

Hi there! Graduation season is creeping up on us and you might be wondering, what kind of favors shall I make? Well I have a great one for you! This Diploma Pillow Box Favor is easy to make and is perfect for holding little treats and goodies for your guests.

You will need the following supplies:
- 12"x 12" paper, cut into 4, 6"x 6" sheets.  White or off white looks great, as does paper with some texture.
- We R Memories Pillow Box Punch Board
- 1/8" Fun Craft Double Sided Satin Ribbon, your choice of color
- "Congratulations" stamp of your choice and black ink
- Big Shot and an embossing folder of your choice (optional)

First, follow the instructions to punch out your pillow box from one of your 6" x 6" sheets.  Do not assemble yet.

Next, turn your paper horizontally so that the half section is at the top.  Stamp the bottom section with your "Congratulations" stamp.

This next step is optional.  I used plain, non-textured white paper and I felt it needed more pizazz so I ran my paper through the Big Shot with an embossing folder.  If your paper has a nice texture to it then the embossing isn't necessary.

Assemble your pillow box using double sided tape.   The tab with the half circles punched out gets folded in first, then the whole tab folds down over it. Cut an 18" piece of ribbon.  Tie around your assembled pillow box.

You're done! Now you can fill your favor box with your favorite treats.

In addition, we will be having a Pinterest party at our Mapunapuna location later this year, date TBA, and we are looking for ideas! What kind of Pinterest project would you like to create? Please leave suggestions in the comment section.

Thank you, and happy crafting!
