Beaded Christmas Ornament Cover

Today's Idea & Inspiration is a Beaded Cover for a Christmas Ornament.

SUPPLIES:

• Hard Beading Needle ~ 30061220
• Beadalon Wildfire ~ 30131631
• Miyuki 11/0 crystal AB ~ 30130302
• 3mm Bi-Cone Crystal AB ~ 30037017
• 4mm Bi-Cone Crystal AB ~ 30037077
• 5mm Bi-Cone Crystal AB ~ 30051077
• Crystazzi 8mm Crystal AB Drop ~ 30095075
• Crystazzi 6mm Crystal AB Oval ~ 30095036

Instructions:

Cut 1 yd Wildfire

String 1 Seed Bead.  Sew through bead again (this creates a stopper bead). Leave 3-4” tail.

ROUND 1 ~ String 34 more Seed Beads (for a total of 35), form circle by sewing the same direction through the 1^st strung bead.

ROUND 2 ~String 7 Seed Beads, 1 – 3mm Bi-Cone, 7 Seed Beads. Sew through 7^th Seed Bead in Round 1. Repeat stringing pattern and sew through 14^th, 21^st,  28^th  & 1st Seed Beads in Round 1.

ROUND 3 ~ Sew down through 1^st 7 Seed Beads & 3mm Bi-Cone. String 9 Seed Beads, 1 – 3mm Bi-Cone, 9 Seed Beads. Sew through 2^nd Bi-Cone. Repeat stringing pattern and sew through 3^rd, 4^th, 5^th & 1^st 3mm Bi-Cones.

ROUND 4 ~ Sew down through 1^st 9 Seed Beads & 3mm Bi-Cone. String 11 Seed Beads, 1 – 4mm Bi-cone, 11 Seed Beads. Sew through 2^nd Bi-Cone. Repeat stringing pattern and sew through 3^rd, 4^th, 5^th & 1^st 3mm Bi-Cones

ROUND 5 ~ Sew down through 1^st 11 Seed Beads & 4mm Bi-Cone. String 15 Seed Beads, 1 – 4mm Bi-cone, 15 Seed Beads. Sew through 2^nd Bi-Cone. Repeat stringing pattern and sew through 3^rd, 4^th, 5^th & 1^st 4mm Bi-Cones

ROUND 6 ~ Sew down through 1^st 15 Seed Beads & 4mm Bi-Cone. String 19 Seed Beads, 1 – 4mm Bi-cone, 19 Seed Beads. Sew through 2^nd Bi-Cone. Repeat stringing pattern and sew through 3^rd, 4^th, 5^th & 1^st 4mm Bi-Cones

ROUND 7 ~ Sew down through 1^st 19 Seed Beads & 4mm Bi-Cone. String 19 Seed Beads, 1 – 5mm Bi-cone, 19 Seed Beads. Sew through 2^nd Bi-Cone. Repeat stringing pattern and sew through 3^rd, 4^th, 5^th & 1^st 4mm Bi-Cones

ROUND 8 ~ Sew down through 1^st 19 Seed Beads & 5mm Bi-Cone.

*1^st Dangle ~ String 4 Seed Beads, 1 4mm Bi-Cone, 1 Seed Bead, 1 5mm Bi-Cone, 1 Seed Bead, 1 4mm Bi-Cone, 2 Seed Beads, 1 8mm Drop, 1 Seed Bead. Sew back through 8mm Drop, 2 Seed Beads, Bi-Cones & 2 Seed Beads. String 2 Seed Beads. Sew through 4mm Bi-Cone that initiated this Dangle.

String 19 Seed Beads, 1 – 5mm Bi-cone

2^nd Dangle ~ String 4 Seed Beads, 1 6mm Oval, 2 Seed Beads, 1 4mm Bi-Cone, 1 Seed Bead. Sew back through 4mm Bi-Cone, Seed Beads, Oval & 2 Seed Beads. String 2 Seed Beads. Sew through 5mm Bi-Cone that initiated this Dangle.

String 19 Seed Beads, sew through next 4mm Bi-Cone.

Repeat from * until all the way around. Tie off and sew tails through beads.

Note: Add more thread as needed. Knot together and thread through beads.
