Baby Hand-print Wood Disc

Happy Tuesday! Christmas is coming up fast, and recently, more personalized ornaments have been in demand- and who could argue? Christmas is a special time of year, and what better way to mark each year with one-of-a-kind ornaments? This time, I just did something simple- many of us have children, and watching them grow is a pleasure, and you can do just that with these ornaments! Here's how:

Materials

  • Hot Glue Gun Glue Sticks
  • Fake Flowers/Embellishments of Choice
  • Acrylic Paint OR Tempera Paint (Your Choice of Color, tempera is more child-safe)
  • Gel Pens or Paint Pens
  • Ribbon (Your Choice of Color)
  • Screw Eyes
  • Wood Disc

Instructions
  • Paint your child's hand with the paint
  • Press their painted hand onto the ornament while the paint is still wet.
  • Write in the child's name and any other info as desired.
  • Embellish the edges as desired with the hot glue gun and embellishments
  • Glue on your ribbon bow to the top, and attach the screw eye behind the ribbon.
