Wrapped With Love Bracelet

Today’s Idea & Inspiration is a Wrapped With Love Bracelet.

Supplies:

·        20g Gold Wire – 30102770

·        Suede Lace – 30061105

·        Ribbon Clasp (Mesh Clasp) – 30131620

·        Wire Cutters

·        Needle Nose Pliers

·        Flat Nose Piers

Instructions:

1.     Measure out 12 inches of gold wire.

2.     Write out “love” leaving a loop before and after word.

3.     Measure out suede lace according to how many wraps you want bracelet to have and double.

4.     Loop suede through holes and wire wrap ends to secure.

5.     Finish off bracelet with mesh clasp, wrap & wear!

*Optional; add beads, charms and crystals for more personal look

Beaded Bow Necklace

Aloha Crafters ~

Today's Idea & Inspiration is a Beaded Bow Necklace.

Supplies:

• Beads
• Wire - 24 gauge
• Chain
• Clasp
• Jump Rings
• Thread – similar to bead color
• Jewelry pliers
• Scissors
• Sewing Needle

Instructions:

1. Cut 9” wire, make tiny loop at end with pliers
2. String 3” of wire with beads
3. String end of wire through tiny loop at other end of wire
4. String another 3” of beads
5. String end of wire through tiny loop again
6. Wrap wire around center 2-3 times then trim
7. Cut thread about 12”, tie knot at end that will not slip through beads
8. String 1 bead, go back through the same way (making it a stop bead)
9. String 4” of beads onto thread, tie off
10. Thread excess thread back up through beads
11. Tie strand of beads around center of wire bow (you may wish to glue or sew in place)
12. Attach jump rings to bow than chain
13. Attach jump rings to other end of chain, attach clasp

Any-Tin Goes

Are you ready for the latest crafter's, anything-goes embellishment? Well, I've been having so much fun with it lately that I feel like I need some fanfare to introduce our newest fun product, (insert drumroll here) embossed tin strips!

I like to say they're an anything-goes embellishment because you can literally use them on anything and everything! Here they are wrapped around a distressed box for a beautiful accent. I glued the tin to the box using everyone's favorite glue, E6000.

We also wrapped them around some glass pieces like this bottle here. Believe it or not, this tin is held on by a pop-up glue dot. Those things are great!

And since the tin looked so good on burlap, I decided to wrap it around one of the burlap canvases which we just got in.

Here's a closer look at the tin strip itself. I spray painted the tin piece with "Bone" color spray paint from Montana Gold and then used silver alcohol inks to accent the raised areas.

I hope you'll have as much fun as I've been having with these strips. The next time you come in the store, they'll probably be on EVERYTHING.

Londy or thin floral wire

Duct tape in your color choice

A small cylinder like a paint bottle

All-purpose thread

Scissors

Wire cutters

Floral tape

*Optional* Stamens

These five-petal flowers are a local favorite and often used as an accessory. You could even add them to hair clips or pins.

16 gauge floral wire

Non-stick scissors
